Young Professionals Orientation and Training Program

EARN Corporation, the only company in the Philippines that manufactures OMNIBOARD (Woodwool Cement Bonded Board or WWCBB panels), is looking for two (2) part time apprentices; preferably 4th year, 5th year or under-board graduates in either Architecture or Civil Engineering. Their work will involve the following:

1. Familiarization with Omniboard and Corboo (a new cement bonded board using recycled corn stalks and reinforced with bamboo shavings) products through technical documents and through periodic factory visits, project site visits and liaison with the Forest Products Research and Development Institute (FPRDI);
2. Following up client requirements through sales calls, product presentations, e-mailed responses to queries;
3. Technical coordination with Architects and Engineers to determine what components of their design can be translated into the Omniboard Building System;
4. Day to day assistance in answering phoned in questions or inquiries regarding Omniboard properties, prices, comparative costing, availability, application and installation.

The YP Bookmarks are now available for purchase just in time for the holidays. The bookmark features murals painted by YP Workshop participants in 2006 and 2008. It has 7 different designs portraying the communities of Infanta, Quezon and Albay Province in Bicol.

The following are the available selling packages of the bookmark:

• 1 set of 7 designs:  PhP 50.00 = 7 bookmarks
• 2 sets of 7 designs: PhP 75.00 = 14 bookmarks
• 3 sets of 7 designs: PhP100.00 = 21 bookmarks
• 10 sets of 7designs: Php300.00 = 70 bookmarks
